Composer H. Leslie Adams was honored at the 55th annual awards ceremony on June 25th. His lifetime achievement artist in music award was presented by Joel Smirnoff, president of the Cleveland Institute of Music. The Opus 216 Quartet performed excerpts from Adams' String Quartet (2003). Other award winners included visual artist Julian Stanczak, and Jules and Mike Belkin.
