Darleen Mitchell, new piano trio premiere, Sept. 7

The Space of Elsewhere, a new piano trio by Darleen Mitchell will be premiered at the Great Plains New Music Festival at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, on September 7. The Frahm-Lewis Trio, resident piano trio at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, will perform. Ting-Lan Chen (violin), Noah Rogoff (cello), and Nathan Buckner (piano).  Also on the program is a performance of Mitchell's Three Walt Whitman Songs, sung by Baritone Andrew White with the composer accompanying on piano.
