Louis Karchin will premiere his new work Luminous Fields at a concert at the Barnes Foundation. The concert is part of an exciting new series of contemporary classical music presented by Philadelphia’s acclaimed Network for New Music. World-class composers meet world-renowned art as American virtuosos like Stephen Hartke (LA), Louis Karchin (NYC), Kristin Kuster (Ann Arbor), and Jeremy Gill (Boston) debut unforgettable chamber performances inspired by the legendary art and architecture at the Barnes. The evening includes short talks and access to the permanent collection. Cocktails and light fare are also available for purchase.
