On Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, 7 PM, the highly acclaimed British baritone, Jeremy Huw Williams, with Paula Fan, piano will perform two baritone songs by Louis Karchin: Echoes, and Memory, on a concert entitled "A Look Behind the Curtain," a presentation of works by five contemporary composers, anchored by Poulenc's iconic 1956 song cycle, Le travail du peintre. Additional works by Barbara Jazwinski, Friedrich Kern, Andrew MacDonald and Guy Sacre The concert is at NYU's Maison Francaise, 16 Washington Mews, New York City.
